SKSC Competitive Development and Competitive September Shutdown Schedule

To all Competitive and Competitive Development Families

Thank you for your patience as we sort out the Guildford maintenance shutdown (Aug 31 to Oct 19) schedule. We are happy to say the city will be keeping the Hjorth Road Outdoor pool open through to Tuesday, Oct 6th which is a tremendous help to the program.  We’ve also been able to grab a small amount of pool time at SSLC here and there.

Please find below links to the September schedule based on program.  Note, these are live documents.

• Competitive Development Program
  • Bronze, Silver, Gold all groups (11/SSLC/ GLFD/Weekend)
  • Starts Thursday, Sept 10th based on your group’s schedule.  
• Competitive Program: Regional Track 
  • LMR 10/12/14, Regional, High School
  • Starting Tuesday, Sept 8th based on your group’s schedule.
• Competitive Program: Divisional/Provincial Track
  • Youth, Junior, Senior (Red & Black)
  • Starting Tuesday, Sept 8th based on your group’s schedule.

Important Notes:

• At the moment only September to October 4th is available. October will be available through the same link at the beginning of September once some pool time and coaching decisions have been finalized.
• Upcoming Holidays
  • Wednesday, Sept 30th will be cancelled for all groups for Truth and Reconciliation Day
  • Sunday, Oct 11 and Monday, Oct 12 will be cancelled for all groups  (Thanksgiving)
• Hjorth Road (10277 148 St) workouts will run rain or shine, so please be prepared for the weather.
  • Sun - dark or mirrored goggles, sunscreen, water
  • Rain - warm clothes, extra towel, garbage bag to put over top of bag (pool water is warm!)
• Competitive groups look closely at the schedule week to week as some groups do see a change come the week of Sept 21 on Tuesday and Thursday.
• There will be no Bronze/Silver Sat AM fast track until Guildford reopens (accounts will be adjusted appropriately).
