Hi Delta Meet Attendees,

Here are some updates.

About Warm Ups:

  • It is important that swimmers arrive before the listed times to get appropriate space.
  • Swimmer seating will be in the gymnasium so please bring deck chairs.  Make sure to dry off on deck before moving through the lobby.  They will be announcing and streaming the current Event and Heat into the gym so that swimmers know where we are at.  Please do not bring any balls!
  • Warm Ups will be blocked for all sessions.  Please arrive BEFORE activation start time.  Swimmers should be ready for activation at posted time, not walking into the pool.

Other Notes:

  • Parents will be permitted on the on deck bleachers only, and are asked to be respectful of the lobby and pool viewing areas as it is not rented out and are public areas.  Parents who are repeatedly asked to remove themselves from these areas may have their swimmers removed by meet management.
  • We recommend leaving electronic devices at home unless they are needed for communication or music.  It’s important for swimmers to stay engaged with the meet and with each other.  There have been some missed races due to swimmers playing games on devices!
  • All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing.  Please make sure clothing has your swimmer’s name on it.  Everyone from our club has the same shirt and it’s hard to return lost shirts if no name is on them.
  • Swimmers are required to attend warmups and all of their races, and are allowed to leave when they finish their last race of a session.  Double check with your coach if you are unsure.
  • Don't forget water bottles, healthy snacks/food, and extra clothes and towels.
  • Swimmers should remove all watches or bracelets on their wrist for races as they may be disqualified.
