Level 2: Chief Timer clinic
Thursday, April 24th 5:30-7:00pm Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex (room TBA)
Prerequisites: Must have completed the Level 1 Intro & Safety clinics and have timing experience at sanctioned meets. Officials who do not meet the prerequisites will be removed from the clinic.
This clinic goes over how to be a Chief Timer. Chief Timers help oversee the timers, ensure proper procedures are being followed for accurate timing of the athletes. Chief Timers need to be comfortable speaking in front of others and teaching others.
Spots will be limited to 20 participants. Priority will be given to officials taking this clinic for the first time.
