Level 2: Chief Timer Clinic (online)

Level 2: Chief Timer clinic

Monday, Januray 19th 7:30-9:30pm via zoom (online)

REQUIRED: Must have taken the Level 1 clinic (Intro & Safety Marshal) AND have timing experience at sanctioned (competitive) meets. (if you only recently took the Level 1 clinics, you're not ready for this clinic yet). Must also have an active Officials account with Swim Canada.

Officials who do not meet the prerequisites will be removed from the clinic.

This clinic goes over how to be a Chief Timer.  Chief Timers oversee the timers and ensure proper procedures are being followed for accurate timing of the athletes.  Chief Timers need to be comfortable speaking in front of others and teaching others.

Fill out a form for each official taking the clinic.  Receive 4 job credits for each official taking the clinic for the first time.

To receive your volunteer points, each official must have an active account with Swim Canada/SportLomo. If you haven't already done so, please complete the Officials Registration form so that an account can be created for you: Official's Registration 2025-26 Season

Spots will be limited to 20 participants.

Sign up by noon on January 17th. Zoom Link and slides will be sent out the morning of the clinic. Check your spam folders if zoom link is not in your inbox by noon the day of the clinic.
