Level 2: Inspector of Turns Clinic (in-person)

Level 2: Inspector of Turns/Turn Judge Clinic

Thursday May 7th 5:30-7:30pm IN PERSON at Guildford in the Aquatics Classroom (located inside the Lifeguard room). 

Prerequisites: Must have completed the Level 1 Intro and Safety clinics, have timing experience at sanctioned (competitive) meets, and have an active Officials account with Swim Canada.  Officials who do not meet the prerequisites will be removed from the clinic sign up.

This clinic goes over how to be an Inspector of Turns/Turn Judge. Turn Judges are positioned at the start and turn ends of the lanes and observe the swimmers on the execution of turns and finishes, and disqualify swimmers who do not adhere to the proper rules.

Fill out a form for each official taking the clinic.  Receive 4 job credit for each official taking the clinic for the first time. To participate and to receive your volunteer points, each official must have an active account with Swim Canada/SportLomo. 

Spots will be limited to 12 participants. Priority will be given to officials taking this clinic for the first time due to the limited spots.

This clinic is in person.  Please make sure to check in at the clinic.  New people will not be permitted to enter the room after 5:40pm.

Please remember to bring your officials card to get it signed by the instructor.
