Level 2: Starter Clinic (May)

Level 2 Officials Clinic: Starter Clinic

The Starter works alongside the Referee at the start end of the pool, using the electronic equipment for starting each heat. The Starter is the one who says "Take your mark" and using the machine tells the swimmers when to start their race and the timers when to start their watches.

This clinic is NOT for new officials.

Prerequisites

• Must have taken Level 1 clinics and at least 3 other Level 2 clinics (Turn Judge, Judge of Stroke, Chief Timer, or Admin Desk)
• Must have experience as a timer as well as multiple level 2 positions such as Turn Judge, Stroke Judge, Admin Desk or Chief Timer

In person at SSLC in the Lobby Classroom (room directly by pool entrance)

Fill out the form for each Official taking the clinic. Receive 4 job credits for each official taking the clinic for the first time. This clinic is NOT for new officials.

Spots will be limited to 20 participants. Priority will be given to officials taking the clinic for the first time.
