2026 SKSC June LC - Swimmer Updates

Quick Notes:

• This meet is at Guildford Sunday AM
• This meet is timed finals and no relays. 
• Spectators must sit upstairs.

Meet Information

• Activation starts 7:40AM
• Warm Ups will run 8:00-8:50AM with a 9:00AM meet start
  • Warm Up is open, no assigned lanes
  • Dives lanes in lanes 1 & 2, Pace Lane 8 will open up at 8:30AM
• Session Start 9:00AM, Estimated Time Out 1:30pm including distance
• 400IM will be run as a mixed event, and there were no entries in the male 200FL
• There will be 1 heat of 1500FR combined with a few 800FR swimmers, followed by a heat of the top 800FR
• There will be warm up/down breaks after 50BR, 50FL and 100FR
• Pool will not be open before the 50s when the timers move to shallow end

Team Expectation:

• All swimmers are asked to sit on deck.
• NOTE: Due to limited deck space - NO personal chairs ( folding or otherwise) allowed on deck.  
  • Out of respect for everyone, please ensure you arrive early to sit as a team. This will help ensure that as a team we get bleacher space.
  • Please try to sit on the pool deck bleachers nearest to the starter.
• Warm up participation is expected by all.  Swimmers that miss\late warmup, coaches will assume they are not coming and maybe scratched from that session.  Any fees incurred are the responsibility of the swimmer.
• We will be doing activation outside so dress accordingly.
• All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing. 
• Make sure to bring extra clothes, towels, water bottles and healthy snacks! 
  • Reminder No glass containers or bottles allowed in the facility.
• Leave electronic devices at home, unless for music or communication.  
• Swimmers MUST be dry before moving through the stairwell and hallways.  
• Swimmers must check in with coaches before and after races and before leaving for the session.
• Coaches are not responsible for watching swimmers during session 
• And as always - your best effort!

PARENTS\VOLUNTEERS: 

• Parents will be required to remain upstairs in the viewing gallery unless volunteering as an official.
  • Parents are not allowed to sit by the leisure pool or changerooms
• Please note, some volunteer times start EARLIER then the activation time.
• Please double check your volunteering shifts as meet session times may have changed!
