2023 SKSC November SC Swimmer Updates

SESSION TIME CHANGES

Please note due to pool constraints, we have adjusted the meet session times.

• 13&Under On Deck 6:40AM, Warm Up 7:00AM, Meet 8:00AM-12:05PM
• 14&Over On Deck 12:25PM, Warm Up 12:45PM, Meet 1:45-5:06PM

VOLUNTEERS: 

• Please double check your volunteering shifts as meet session times have changed!
• We are still looking for parents for the following sessions:
  • Sunday 14&O - Chief Timer, Stroke Judge, Turn Judge
  • Meet Take down after 14&O session

Quick Notes:

• This meet is at SSLC
• It is a timed final session. No relays. 
• There is limited spectator seating.

About Warm Ups:

• It is important that swimmers arrive before the listed times to get appropriate space on the pool deck.
  • Activation starts for the morning 13&U session at 06.40AM.
  • Activation starts for the afternoon 14&O session at 12.25PM.

• Please try to sit on the pool deck bleachers nearest to the starter.

• Warm Ups will be blocked and SKSC is in the first group.

Team Expectation

• Deck chairs are recommended for swimmers if bleacher space is limited.  
• We will be doing activation outside so dress accordingly.
• All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing. 
• Swimmers are required to attend warmups and all of their races, and are allowed to leave when they finish their last race of a session.  Double check with your coach if you are unsure.
• Don't forget water bottles, healthy snacks/food, and extra clothes and towels.
• Coaches are not responsible for watching swimmers during session 

For Parents:

• Parents who are not volunteering will need to remain off deck.
• No deck chairs in the upper viewing gallery in front of the bleachers
