 Swimmer/ Parent Updates

Quick Notes:

  • This meet is at SSLC
  • The meet will be Short course (25m) and is a timed final session. No relays. 
  • Blocked Warmups - Warm up lanes and times have been established for each club
  • There is limited spectator seating.  No personal chair upstairs in the viewing area in front of the bleachers.
  • The swimmeet is one session per day and is expected to finish before 2pm each day.

About Warm Ups:

  • While warm up have been split  by clubs, it is important that swimmers arrive before the listed times to get appropriate space on the pool deck bleachers 
    • Saturday
      • On deck 7:05am
      • Activation starts 7:10AM.
    • Sunday
      • On deck 7:15am
      • Group Meeting 7:20AM.
  • Please try to sit on the pool deck bleachers nearest to the starter.
  • Lanes and times have been established for warm up for each club.  You must warm up in the allocated lane and times.

Team Expectations:

  • Deck chairs are recommended for swimmers if bleacher space is limited.  
  • We will be doing activation outside so dress accordingly.
  • All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing. 
  • Swimmers are required to attend warmups and all of their races, and are allowed to leave when they finish their last race of a session.  Double check with your coach if you are unsure.
  • Don't forget water bottles, healthy snacks/food, and extra clothes and towels.
  • Coaches are not responsible for watching swimmers during session 
  • A great Attitude and Have Fun!!!

VOLUNTEERS: 

  • Please double check your volunteering shifts and arrive for the start of our shift (some positions start before warm up!).  Please check in at the admin desk on deck.
  • We are still in need of the following for volunteering, please sign up through the website.
    • Friday PM set up: 7:00pm SSLC
    • a safety marshall for Saturday AM warm up
    • Takedown Sunday 1:45pm SSLC
