SWIMMER UPDATE/ ITINERARY

July 2025 Summerfest


 

Thanks everyone for attending our Summerfest meet.  A reminder this meet is Saturday/Sunday at the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex (NOT Guildford) in one session.

 

Warm up/Activation times:

  • There will be 3 warm up groups. 
  • Each warm up will be 20mins regular, 5mins all lanes for dives
  • Note arrival times below.  Please consider that some volunteer jobs start earlier than the swimmer's arrival time!


 

Sat 7:00am Activation starts

Warm up 720-7:45

(7:40 all lanes dives)

Meet Start 8:45AM

Expected finish 205pm

Sun    7:25 Activation starts

Warm up 7:45-8:10

(8:05 all lanes dives)

Meet Start 8:45AM

Expect finish  230pm

 

Notes/Reminder 

  • All events are time finals
  • Limited space for personal chairs available on deck- No personals chairs upstairs 
  • All swimmers expect to participate in warmup at the assigned time.
  • Emergency exits and walkways must remain clear and please remind your swimmers absolutely no glass on the pool deck
  • Coaches are not responsible for swimmers after or between sessions

 

Club Expectation:

  • Elbows up!  Best attitude forward!  Best effort forward!  Swimmers are to ensure that they represent Knights in a positive manor all time
  • Team gear on deck at all times
  • Take time to help other teammates
  • Ensure that your area is clean, regardless of “it wasn't me”  work as a team to keep it clean!  This is our home afterall!
  • Have healthy snacks. Good nutrition leads to good performance.  Leave the junk food at home!
  • Some suggestion: Granola and snack bars ,  Gatorade crystals,  Fruit snacks/bars,   Power gels, Peanut butter , Beef jerky , Nuts, Tins of Tuna ,  Protein Bars , Trail Mix,  Crackers ,  Digestive cookies, Cereals ,  Fruit cups
