2024 SKSC Winterfest SC Swimmer Updates

Quick Notes:

• This meet is at Guildford
• It is a timed final session. No relays. 
• There is limited spectator seating.

Session Updates

Saturday 14&O session has been shifted to a later start.  Morning sessions remain the same.

About Warm Ups:

• It is important that swimmers arrive before the listed times to get appropriate space on the pool deck.
  • Saturday
    • 13&U: Activation starts for the morning 7:10AM.
    • 14&O: Activation starts for the afternoon 14&O session at 1.40PM
  • Sunday
    • All ages Activation starts for the morning 7:10AM

• Please try to sit on the pool deck bleachers nearest to the starter.

• Saturday 13&U and Sunday warm ups are blocked.  Saturday 14&O is open warm up.

Team Expectation

• Deck chairs are recommended for swimmers if bleacher space is limited.  
• We will be doing activation outside so dress accordingly.
• All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing. 
• Swimmers are required to attend warmups and all of their races, and are allowed to leave when they finish their last race of a session.  Double check with your coach if you are unsure.
• Don't forget water bottles, healthy snacks/food, and extra clothes and towels.
• Coaches are not responsible for watching swimmers during session 

VOLUNTEERS: 

• Please double check your volunteering shifts as meet session times have changed!
• We are still in need of volunteers for some sessions, particularly the Saturday 14&O session for turn judge and timer.
