11&U Rubber Duck and Distance Meet

Quick Notes:

• This meet is at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre
• It is a timed final session with 11&U Rubber Ducky session in the AM for all, and 400m+ events in the afternoon for YP/YC/JR.
• Please allow plenty of time for travel to the meet in case of delays on route.

About Warm Ups:

• It is important that swimmers arrive before the listed times to get appropriate space to sit.  
• 11&U AM session
  • Activation starts 7:10AM
  • Warm Up 7:30AM, Meet Start 8:30AM
  • 11&U Session done by 11:30am
• Distance - Please come based on the event entered.
  • 400FR
    • Activation 11:50pm, Warm Up 12:00pm, meet start 1:00pm
    • 400FR done by 1:35pm depending on heat
  • 800FR (Mykah, Alice Fan, Ayva, Ryan Liu, Brian Zhao, Isabelle Siu)
    • Check in 1:30pm with coaches
    • Will warm up in side pool based on meet timeline
    • 800FR done by 4:30pm depending on heat

Team Expectation

• Swimmers will be sitting upstairs
• Swimmers may do activation outside so dress accordingly.
• All swimmers need to be wearing their SKSC t-shirt or sweatshirt while on deck and your SKSC cap while racing. 
• Swimmers are required to attend warmups and all of their races, and are allowed to leave when they finish their last race of a session.  Double check with your coach before leaving for the day.
• Don't forget water bottles, healthy snacks/food, and extra clothes and towels.
• Coaches are not responsible for watching swimmers during sessions or between.
• Swimmers can view the events they are racing through their SKSC accounts BEFORE the meet through your commitment.  It’s strongly recommended for swimmers to view their events before arriving so they know what they are doing.

For Parents/Volunteers:

• Parents who are not volunteering will need to remain in the spectator area upstairs and are not allowed on deck.
• If you are available for volunteering, please email bsinmission@yahoo.ca  They are looking for timers for both the 11&U and distance session, as well as stroke and turn for distance.  Gold parents, this is an official meet so you can get your officials cards signed off for timing in the AM!
