Hi Spartan Meet Attendees

The coaches are excited for the first meet of the 2023-24 season!

As it’s the first meet and we have some new swimmers both to the club and to sanctioned meets, please find some updates and reminders and expectations below.  Full meet package and swim meet rules are available on the club website

• Meet Times for Saturday, Oct 5
  • 12&U
    • On Deck 8:10AM 
      • Please be on deck ready for activation at this time.
      • Warm Ups are split into 2 groups.  We are group 1.
      • Meet start 9:30AM (30 mins earlier than meet package)
      • Swim meet is expected end approx 1:00pm, most swimmer will be done by 12:30pm.
  • 13&O
    • On Deck 3:00PM
      • Please be on deck ready for activation at this time.
      • Warm Ups are split into 2 groups.  We are group 2 (1st warm up starts 3pm).
      • Meet start 4:10PM 
      • Swim meet is expected end approx 6:30pm
• Team Gear
  • SKSC team gear (shirts, caps, etc…) is required to be worn by all swimmers.  Caps are to be worn by ALL swimmers regardless of hair length.
    • We will receive our new cap order on Friday.  If you need your team gear cap for the weekend, please email with Coach Darlene by 7pm Friday.
    • We have also recently received the shirts and are handing them out to new SKSC swimmers as a priority.  If you need your SKSC shirt as you lost yours, please email Coach Darlene by 7pm Friday.
    • All swimmers are required to check in with their coaches before leaving the meet after their last race.  This is to help ensure no one is missing races and also lets us know you have left.  Swimmers do not need to wait until the end of the competition.
• Make sure to bring extra clothes, towels, water bottles and healthy snacks! No glass containers or bottles allowed in facility
• Parents will be required to remain upstairs in the viewing gallery unless volunteering as an official.
• Reminder that Safe Sports policies are in place, this includes no deck changing. 
• Volunteering
  • Any officials who are looking to volunteer this weekend:
    • Fill out this Official’s Registration Form for the 2024-25 season.
    • Head down on deck and check in with the Clerk of Course about available spots.
    • After the meet, don’t forget to fill out the non-SKSC hosted meet form for the 2024-25 season after the meet to receive your job credits for volunteering!  This form can be found under the parents tab of the website.
