      • This is a divisional level meet sponsored by Swim BC, Hosted by SKSC
      • Washroom in lobby is not for swimmers- please use change rooms

Warm up Times:

  • SKSC warm up times are as follows.  Note, volunteers may have earlier start times.  Please ensure you are arriving for your volunteer shift ON TIME
  • Please arrive on time especially Friday and Saturday so we can secure space for the team to sit.

Team Gear

  • SKSC  team gear (shirts, caps, etc…) is required to be worn by all swimmers while on pool deck
  • SKSC new logo Caps are to be worn by ALL swimmers regardless of hair length for their races/relay

Team Expectations

  • For Swimmer to arrive on time and participate to their fullest potential
  • Swimmers that do not participate in warmups will be scratched from that day of the meet, as we assume they will not be there ready to swim
  • Swimmer are expected to attend all session that they have signed up / qualified for- This includes relays /  alternates for finals each day
    • There is no opting out of one or the other.
  • Communicate before and after each race with coaches, regardless of the results.  
  • If you are not returning for finals or relays you must wait for the full results and speak to the coaches.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards the sport, other swimmers and officials
  • Sit as a team 
  • Take the time to help other team members
  • Reminder that Safe Sports policies are in place, this includes no deck changing

Other Reminders:

  • All swimmers are required to check in with their coaches before leaving the meet after their last race.  This is to help ensure no one is missing races and also lets us know you have left.  Coaches encourage all swimmers to stay and cheer on others swimmers for this provincial meet 
  • Make sure to bring extra clothes, towels, water bottles and healthy snacks! 
    • Reminder No glass containers or bottles allowed in facility
    • It is recommended that swimmers sit on the bleachers provided .  There is limited space for personal deck chairs
  • Swimming and swimmeets is not a excuse for poor grades- there is lots of down time throughout the weekend to study/homework - please ensure you do so accordingly 
  • SKSC and Coaches are not responsible for swimmers between sessions- please plan accordingly for the breaks

Parents/Volunteering: 

  • Any officials/ timers who are still looking to volunteer this weekend please see the admin desk on the pool deck to confirm  if any spots are available.
  • NO spectators will be allowed on deck.   Spectators must stay in the lobby or viewing area.
  • Esquire will be set up on Friday and Saturday
  • Team Aquatic Supplies will be set up Sunday prelims only
