VPSC  Fall Inv

  Itinerary & Updates  October 2026

With our first meet in the books, it’s time to build on everything we’ve learned. Second meets are where the real growth starts to show—taking those adjustments from practice and putting them right into your races.

Use this meet to:

  • Challenge yourself: Target a race execution detail you've been working on (pacing, underwaters, fast turns).
  • Track your progress: Use your times from Meet #1 as a benchmark to beat.
  • Bring the energy: Keep supporting your teammates on the deck from start to finish!

Quick Reminders:

  • Meet Date: Oct 17/18, 2026
  • Location: UBC  Aquatic Center,  UBC Campus
  • Meet Package: Full meet Package is available on club website
  • Travel Time: Please allow time for travel and arrive on time for meet activation

What to Bring:

Goals for the Weekend:

  1. Focus on the Process: Don't stress about the clock. Focus on sharp turns, strong finishes, and executing what we’ve been practicing.  The second half of the race is more important than the first half!
  2. Support the Team: Cheer for every heat, and celebrate each other's efforts.
  3. Have Fun: Enjoy the excitement, the team spirit, and the rush of being back on the blocks!
  4. Get Feedback:  Talk to your Coaches and get feedback on what you can improve over the next several workouts

See you on the pool deck and good luck!
