SKSC Welcome and Awards Brunch

We are excited to announce the return of the SKSC Welcome and Awards Banquet. This season we will be having brunch!  We will be running the awards banquet in two groups to accommodate room capacity and swimmers/family members.

As a team, we strive to recognize the accomplishments of our swimmers over the course of the year. Our swimmers continually work hard to not only achieve time standards, but improve on personal skills such as commitment, dedication, positivity, focus, leadership, and teamwork.  This banquet is also an opportunity to welcome our new members and family to the program.

We will have a special guest speaker for this event, Donovan Tildesley. Donovan was just recently inducted in the Swim BC Hall of Fame this year for his swimming accomplishments being a 5 time Paralympic medalist across 4 Paralympics and was the 2008 Flag Bearer for the closing ceremonies.

Who: 

SKSC members in year-round programming (excludes Masters and Royal Knights Academy), any family members (moms, dads, sisters, brothers, grandparents)

Cost:

$18/person

Location:

Tentatively at the Resource Education Center in Surrey, 14123 92 Ave, Surrey, BC

Group blocking:

All combined.  Development, Community Fitness and Competitive 

Times:

Group 1: 9:30 - 11:30AM

• 30min turnover   - 

Menu: pancakes, breakfast sausage/bacon, fruits, coffee/tea/juice

Make sure to look at vegetarian and regular tickets, along with ages carefully!  Dietary restrictions please make sure to note and we will try to accommodate or follow up if they cannot.
